   Ziltiod the Omniscient by Devin Townsend A concept album that tells the story of an alien who travels to earth in search of the universe’s greatest cup of coffee. I find it hilarious, and the music is fantastic (as Devin tends to be), except I do not like like the snare sound he used/5(52).

   Ziltoid the Omniscient is a rock opera about Ziltoid, an alien who approaches Earth and asks for the planet's "ultimate cup of coffee." Finding it "fetid," he attacks. However, the narrative isn't highly evolved. The humans escape his clutches, Ziltoid suffers a number of setbacks (and resulting existential crises), and the end implies that it was all just a dream.8/

   "Ziltoid the Omniscient", Devin Towsend 's first "pure solo album" is supposed to be it for a while for the enigmatic and creatively brilliant main man for STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and THE DEVIN.
